Cromford Cradle of the industrial revolution and home to Arkwrights Cromford Mill Cromford in Derbyshire, is a place many people simply pass through on their way to the Matlocks, Bakewell and other northerly places, but Cromford is very definitely worth taking a closer look at, because it is steeped in industrial history and often called the cradle of the industrial revolution.

Our spinning mills facilities are all loed at Kahatex II. We boast the largest Acrylic Spinning Plant in Indonesia. Altogether we currently have 20 independent Spinning Mills with a total of 1 million spindles. We also have 2 more mills currently under construction for completion in 2020.
Selected host mills in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia invited visiting mills in for facility visits – from the warehouse to the spinning rooms – and classroomlike sessions. This inaugural visit allowed host mills to also showcase reallife examples of why cotton is the primary choice for their businesses.

It used a water wheel to turn spinning frames in his cotton mill. His water powered frame was more powerful than workers and could spin cotton faster. Though limited to one thread at a time, it heralded the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. In 1771 Arkwright installed the Water Frame in his Cromford Mill. Workers were given set shifts.

Once the first rural textile mills were built (1769) and child apprentices were hired as primary workers, the connotation of "child labor" began to change. Charles Dickens called these places of work the "dark satanic mills" and E. P. Thompson described them as "places of ual license, foul language, cruelty, violent accidents, and alien manners" (1966, 307).
Inventions with speed and precision were built throughout the industrial revolution which led to the rise of the factories.
